This Could Go Anywhere with Mike Carnes
“Welcome to This Could Go Anywhere—and I mean that literally.
This show is where we talk about life’s big questions, random tangents, parenting struggles, maybe death, maybe music festivals…
Honestly? I don’t always know where we’ll end up. But I believe in honest, unfiltered conversations.
So if you’re into real talk without a neat conclusion - stick around.”

In this first episode of This Could Go Anywhere, Mike sits down with his dad to start recording some of the stories from his life.
The conversation begins with why these recordings matter in the first place - how family stories can disappear if no one takes the time to ask. From there, Mike’s dad shares a few memories from growing up, including Christmas trips to Duluth, summers spent near the harbor and Gooseberry Falls, and one short-lived attempt at running away from home.
Along the way, there are bikes with banana seats, raspberries picked straight from the bush, and the realization that the edge of Omaha once looked very different than it does today.
This is the first of many conversations...and it could go anywhere.
